It was so much fun seeing him laugh and enjoy something this much. Hopefully the weather will continue to be nice so we can go to the park more often!

Swinging
Little Dude got to go to the park today for the first time. He and his little girlfriend enjoyed having a play date away from the house. They both enjoyed the swings.

All Boy
Little Dude is certainly all boy. Today he decided to take cruising to the next level. After all, new tricks always get old after only doing them for one day. This is what I call Cruising 2.0
I think the xylophone makes for a great step stool. And it is certainly always appropriate to wave at mommy. However, I could definitely do without the mini heart attacks he gives me!

9 months
Little Dude will be 9 months old tomorrow! Hello? Time? I was just wondering - can you please slow down?
This weekend, Little Dude met his cousin for the first time. At first he didn't know what to think.
Then he got very curious. Maybe even a little too curious. But he was gentle and it was so fun seeing them together!

We had Little Dude's nine month check up at the doctor late last week. He is 20lbs 5 oz (in the 50th percentile) and 30 inches long (95th percentile)! He is TALL! We are giving him real food now and he does great. He still only has the two teeth, but the doctor said he can see two on the top about to break through. We went out for Gab's birthday last night and Little Dude tried halibut, scallops and rice. He liked all of it! On our way home, the daddy and I were talking about how soon we thought he'd be cruising and walking. I estimated that he might possibly start cruising around the furniture in a couple of weeks.
I was wrong.
Today Little Dude began cruising around his play yard. Watch out world! He'll be running before long!

Giggles
Little Dude and I had to run an errand today to get ready for a photo shoot I am doing later this week. While riding in the car, Little Dude spontaneously busted out laughing. I think he may have been looking at his own smiling face in the mirror. His laughing made me laugh. And the cycle continued until we got to the store.
We looked around and found what we were looking for. Many of the employees commented on how cute he was. He gave them his "concerned" look, but then decided to flash a big toothy grin. I'm wondering if it melts their hearts as much as mine. We got back into the car to head home. Again, Little Dude cracked up out of nowhere.
I. Love. This. Kid.

Overload
It seems that Little Dude has a toy overload. Today he made it his personal mission to take almost every toy out of his toy basket in the den.
And yet, he still went back to get even more toys out!
I like to call this his "Path of Destruction"
For those of you who have already heard the news, I apologize that you have to hear this again. Little Dude has to undergo a surgery on Thursday to remove a cyst and adhesions. We are less than thrilled and nervous, but we trust that he will be in good hands with the facility we are using. If you don't mind, please keep us in your thoughts!

Little Dude's First Easter
We had a fun first Easter with Little Dude! The day started with a visit from the Easter Bunny at our house. He got some fun new toys. Grammy & Grampa came over to play during the afternoon. Then we all went over to Gabs & Boomps house for dinner with the rest of the family.
Here is Little Dude playing with some of his eggs. He had so much fun crawling through the eggs.
No picture is complete without the drool.
Here is our little family on Easter!
Little Dude is feeling much better and is basically back to normal. He is pulling up and beginning to cruise. I think I have my hands full now but I know shortly he will be running full speed ahead. At least he keeps me on my toes!
